HONORED WITH W. W. GRAINGER’S CFQ1 SUPPLIER AWARD FOR THE
EIGHTH CONSECUTIVE YEAR
FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE:
June 15, 2004, Akron, Ohio USA -- Akro-Mils received the 2003 Customer Focused Quality 1
(CFQ1) Award from W.W. Grainger, Inc. for outstanding service and product quality. This is
the eighth consecutive year and the 11th time this honor has been bestowed to Akro-Mils in
the 17 years Grainger has awarded it. Akro-Mils was one of 24 winners from over 1,200
eligible companies. Grainger, the leading North American supplier of facilities
maintenance products to businesses and institutions, presented the award to Akro-Mils at a
special Supplier Recognition Event on June 14, 2004, in Lincolnshire, Illinois.
Grainger's CFQ1 Award recognizes suppliers who achieve excellence in several
categories, including cost improvement, delivery, overall commitment, product information,
quality, and responsiveness. Grainger suppliers receive points throughout the year for
their performance in these categories. In partnership with Grainger for more than 39
years, Akro-Mils supplies a broad range of plastic industrial containers, totes, pallets,
and carts used to improve customers’ material handling efficiency.
